Psychologists know that bonding begins the moment people realize they have things in common. That’s exactly what this funny team-building exercise will accomplish. What’s more, it helps you create a team name and logo for your next design sprint.

Facilitation Beginner

STEP 1

Start a 5-minute brainstorming session with your team. Within that time, you have to identify three things that all of you share in common. It could be a favorite animal, hobby, food or vacation destination. Be specific with your findings.

STEP 2

Next, brainstorm for another 5 minutes, using these commonalities as a starting point to create a cool team name. It could include all or some of those terms – blend, bend and mix. Or feel free to come up with something entirely new. Every person on the team should be happy with the result.

STEP 3

In the last step, write your team name on a large Post-it and design a logo for yourselves. Have fun, get creative, and don’t overthink it!
