Enabling engineers to sell their ideas

Back to Overview

Flight engineering company Lufthansa Technik runs a massively funded innovation program for engineers from all different fields. Before getting funding for their product and service ideas, the participants must first pitch successfully to the management board.

To help the engineers craft their pitches, PEAK developed an Agile Presentation Workshop to help them develop their 5-minute pitch presentations together with their colleagues in just one day.

Lufthansa Technik is big on innovation. So big that they committed to quadrupling their investment in innovative ideas – from €50 million over the past 5 years, up to €200 million for the period up to 2018. The goal of this innovation program was to differentiate itself from the competition and gain valuable cost savings for both Lufthansa Technik and their customers.

The innovations range from new ideas for inflight entertainment systems to new digital tools for more efficient aircraft maintenance.

Since 2015, PEAK has been working with the engineers in the program to help them pitch persuasively and concisely to the management board. The goal is to simplify complex ideas into easily understandable messages.
