About the workshop
In this workshop, you’ll put yourself in your user’s shoes. And what kind of shoes are they? What brands does this person buy, and why? What drives them? These are the kinds of revealing questions you’ll learn to ask when creating a persona, a composite character representing users of your product or service.
A persona is a useful tool for assessing the goals, desires and limitations of a potential target group. It ties in with the important first step of the Design Thinking process, empathizing with your user in order to understand what solutions you can offer. You need to see their world and picture them inside it.
The way we teach it, persona creation is a hands-on process combining drawing and visual thinking techniques in addition to questioning and reflection. You’ll finish the workshop with a completed persona and fresh ideas on how to best serve their needs.
